Step 1: Create a Cloudflare R2 Bucket #
- Log into your Cloudflare dashboard.
- From the left sidebar, go to R2 Object Storage section.
- Click the Create Bucket button.

- Enter a bucket name and configure any region-specific options.

Step 2: Generate Your R2 Credentials #
API Token Creation #
- From the R2 Overview page, open the API dropdown on the top-right.
- Select Manage API Tokens.
- Click Create User API Token.

- Under User API token click Create User API token.

- Enter a token name (e.g.,
Pivotlar R2 Backup). - Under permissions:
- Admin Read & Write
- Finalize by clicking Create User API Token.

- After token creation, Cloudflare will display the following:
⚠️ Important: Be sure to store the Secret Access Key securely — it will not be shown again.

Step 3: Connect Cloudflare R2 to Pivotlar #
- In the Pivotlar dashboard, go to Backup Integration.
- Click Add New Provider.
- Select Cloudflare R2.
- Fill in the required credentials:
- Token Name (a label for your own reference)
- Bucket Name (the one you created in Step 1)
- Region (from Cloudflare R2 Overview page)
- R2 Endpoint
- Access Key ID
- Secret Access Key
- Click create
